ECSD Assessments
Evansville teachers use a balanced assessment approach to inform teaching, to measure student academic progress and to demonstrate accountability. Regular assessment of learning includes a variety of evaluation strategies in the classroom along with a set of common assessments given at each grade level.
The ECSD Assessment Events document (Fall, Winter, Spring) provides detail about the assessment and the groups of students who are being assessed.
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's (DPI) WISEdash website provides current statistics about schools and student performance. This tool allows you to view ECSD district data with the ability to compare to other schools and overall state performance.
